Temporary image hosting
Updated Direct link in one click
Not every image should live forever. Share a screenshot for a support chat, a draft for review or a photo for a buyer, and let the link clean itself up. You can also delete it any time with your delete key.
How it works
- Choose 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days or 30 days.
- Upload or paste the image.
- Share the link. A countdown on the viewer page shows how long is left.
- Delete it early with the delete link if you change your mind.
Which expiry to choose
- 1 hour — a screenshot for a live chat or call.
- 1 day — bug reports, quick feedback, temporary previews.
- 7 days — marketplace listings, design reviews (the default).
- 30 days — embeds and posts that need to stay up longer.
Safe, temporary and private by default
- Automated safety review. Every image is checked before it goes live; anything against the content rules never gets a link.
- Links expire. Choose 1 hour to 30 days. Expired images are deleted from storage, not just hidden.
- Metadata removed. GPS location, camera serial numbers and editing history are stripped before upload.
- Unlisted. Viewer pages aren’t indexed by search engines and image IDs can’t be guessed — only people you share the link with can find it.

Frequently asked questions
What happens when the link expires?
The image file is deleted from storage and the link returns an error. The viewer page then says the image has expired.
Can I extend the expiry?
No — to keep sharing, upload the image again. This keeps old images from piling up forever.
Can I delete an image before it expires?
Yes. Each upload comes with a one-time delete key and delete link. Save it — we only store a hash of the key, so we can’t show it to you again. This browser also remembers your recent uploads so you can delete them from the upload page.
Is my photo’s location removed?
Yes. Before upload, ImgDrop strips EXIF, GPS, camera and XMP metadata from JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF files in your browser, and the server strips it again. The pixels are not re-compressed unless the photo needs rotating or is too large.
