What we collect
- Uploaded images are stored on our CDN and are public to anyone with the link until they expire or you delete them. Metadata such as EXIF location is removed.
- Safety review: every upload is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for automated moderation before it goes live. For abuse prevention we keep a hash of each file and a salted hash of the uploader's IP address; records of blocked uploads are kept up to 90 days (longer where the law requires).
- Anonymous usage statistics: page path, referrer domain, country, device type and time. No cookies, no raw IP storage (rate limiting uses a salted one-way hash), no cross-site tracking. We use them to improve pages and to report ad impressions to advertisers.
- Advertisers: name, email, company, billing details and ad content you submit. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see full card numbers.
Advertising
All ads on ImgDrop are sold directly by us to sponsors — there are no ad networks, no ad-tech cookies and no tracking pixels. Sponsor clicks go through a redirect that counts the click and adds UTM tags; nothing about you is shared with the sponsor.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete data about you, including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information. Contact contact@hyppe.tech.
Children
Our sites are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
